Dosage and administration:

Select a proper type of ear tampon and unpack the product.
Grasp the ear tampon with forceps. Hold the external canal open with a speculum and advance the ear tampon into the external canal.
Hydrate the outer end of the ear tampon with saline, sterile water or antibiotic drops until fully expanded.
Rehydrate the ear tampon until saturated. Use forceps to grasp the ear tampon and gently withdraw.

Properties of product:
When in contact with water, the ear tampon will absorb water and expand quickly, provide a controlled pressure on bleeding area.
It protects the operated area from external, mechanical influences and can be used in the application of antibiotics.

Indications:
The ear tampon is used for post otoplasty tamponing of the outer acoustic canal and outer ear drum.
